What's the difference between a Silverado and a Sierra? Both of these trucks are high quality pickup trucks that are engineered for tough jobs in Bunnell FL and leisure weekends in Green Cove Springs. These trucks may be similar when it comes to the exterior, interior, and performance, but there are a few differences. To assist you in making your final decision here is a brief overview of how these two powerful trucks differ.
EXTERIOR
The exterior of the Silverado and Sierra look almost exactly alike when you see it at first glance, but the front end designs are a little different.

The Silverado is equipped with classic Chevy bow-tie emblem, but the Sierra displays the "GMC" emblem instead. The Silverado is exudes a more square and boxy stance, where the Sierra has more of a bold and fierce look to it.

You'll have to decide which style you'll want to show off in Palm Coast.
INTERIOR
The interior in both the Silverado and the Sierra look very alike. They both have luxury trims for each truck, and 8-inch touchscreen with voice activation, Bose sound system, a 110-volt power outlet, and so much more. The one thing that is a little different on the interior is that the Silverado looks more like a working truck and the Sierra is marketed more as a luxurious truck.
PERFORMANCE

When it comes to performance both of these GM trucks will pretty much be identical because they are equipped with the same powertrain components. The engine, fuel economy, driveline, transmission, horsepower, torque, suspension, wheels and max towing capacity are all the same.

The only difference you may get in the performance section are when you compare the Chevy Silverado High Country and GMC Sierra Denali. There are a few additional specs that are featured on the Denali.
As you see, the Silverado and the Sierra have a lot in common. They also have a few differences that make them unique in their own way. We have both of these trucks here at Beck Chevrolet Buick GMC.
